Which TC Sounds Sub FTW?>

Ok need your guys opinion on this one. I will have 2 Sundown SAZ-3000 to power the subs with a HC 1800 starter and 2-3 HC 2000 Kinetiks in the trunk along with custom alt....

Now going by specs would you choose choice A or choice B to go with the equipment listed above.... BTW the subs are 15" and will be running 2

CHOICE A

5200 Quad 1.5 ohm Voice coils

Qts 0.159 Qes 0.164 Qms 5.1 Fs 22Hz Res 4.52Ω Ls 6.56mH Lp 10.6mH Rp 13.7Ω Dia 315mm Vas 109lm ms 517 gcms109um/Nbl43T*m Spl 90.2dB

CHOICE B

LMS-5400 Dual 2 ohm voice coils....

With those given specs and equipment which could I get louder off of? I know the LMS have more potential but im not looking to be getting anymore amps....

lms 4100 neo...when it comes out... if not then i say the 5200's

The 5200 is better for being loud, the LMS is better if you actually plan to LISTEN to it. Given your setup I'm not sure that you are...

otehr than that- dont forget the 5200's stupid wiring options unless the 3000d can run really low ohm (like .3)

i liked the sound of the 5400 over the 5200 but in your case the 5200 is louder so go that route

i would go with the 5400, but for you it seems like you would be happier with the 5200. either one is a beast though.

Devildriver merely posted a link to another forum also- basing your buying decisions off of what one person says is FTL (and that goes for any brand)

Also- if you think thats the worst thing tc has done- you need to get out more:laugh:
