Which subwoofer should i choose?

hello everyone im new to the website and i would like some input for a new system.

right now i have

15" alpine type r in a custom ported box 3.5 cubic feet tunned at 33hz

zicker zx 750.1

i want a new 12" that will give me the same punch as my type r does, but better sq so i want SQL.

ive been researching some 12" subs

Fi Q

Fi BTL

DD 2500

SA 12

RE SXX

which one would be the best for me?

i will probably use the same amp because its rated at 936 watts on the birthsheet.

I want to put the new sub in a sealed box so i can feel the punch from the sub, but i can also make another custom ported box if it will be better but ill let you guys choose for me.

Which ever one fits your budget and YOU actually want. Make sure the box is well designed and built and you won't have an issue with any of the subs listed.

BTL would require too much power and wouldn't be very good in your setup. I'd look at either getting a BL or a Q, but I think the BL is more geared towards SPL applications.

I wouldnt touch the RE unless you can find an older one. The newer ones arent built half as good as the older ones. Id take out the BTL. Id go with the DC Level 4 12". Great sub. I loved my 15". For the price you can also consider a custom built TC based sub from one of the many sub builders here.

i'm gonna go with the Fi Q, it's like the Honda Civic of import racing. performs well with the right parts and if it breaks it's cheap to fix.
