which substage would you go with? i have 3 choices. pics

My neighbor went to the airforce, and had some subs which he doesnt need anymore. He has a brand new 12" L7 in a Qlogic box (will build my own) for 200.00, he has a 15" L5 for 150.00 or I could go back to my two 10" Eclipse SW8102's

I have pics of the 15 and the eclipses, but not of the 12

any reason why? 15 would have more cone area, as well would the eclipse's and have double the power

Well what are you looking for out of your substage?

The 10's would have a cone area advantage.....L5 is out of the question imo

well i am more into SQ. but i like it to hit hard and get loud. so the eclipses being sealed would get 1,100 rms betweem the two and get pretty loud. but i know solobarics get loud as well, but dont sound very good. i have a trunk car. so im having a hard time picking. i might need to go ported to get the loudness i want. but ill miss out on the quality

Well, the 15 would definitely have the cone area advantage.. and i dont think it should get kicked out. They are very similar to L7s. It would be your loudest option I think.

If you want a nice mix, I would probably say go with the eclipses.
