which subs

hey everyone,

im new here. im 16 and have a std cab s10 with a full walk through on it. im making it so the rear window is going to be used. my question is, which subs should i get for best sound. i listen to alot of heavy metal but i still want to be able to crank it up and have some massive bass..any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance.

1) How much money do you have to spend?

2) How much room do you have to work with?

3) How many watts do you want to run to the subs? If you don't know the answer to this....then, do you want to keep the wattage down to a level where it won't completely tax your electrical system, or are electrical upgrades OK with you?

get four to six 8" subs (seeing how you have almost no rear space), you will be surprised of how much bass you can get outta them, if you have a good box built and a good amp on them.

i'd like to keep the sub prices to under 700 hundred or so..i have a crossfire bmf1000d for my amp. and i have a quite a bit of space to work with, i think it about 17 inches tall and around 48 inches long by how ever deep i wanna go, it will just extend into the bed of the truck. i have an accordian boot to keep water and stuff out.
