Which subs would be best?

My questions is what would be the best subs a 2005 Dodge Ram quad cab? I purchased a Joe Fox box from ebay. --> LINK

This enclosure has one chamber and its 1.8 cubic feet. The larges sub that it will hold is 12 7/8". Some of the subs that he recommends in his listings are:

ALPINE TYPE R-12

JL AUDIO 12 W3 V2

KICKER COMP VR 12

MEMPHIS AUDIO M1 & M3 12

PUNCH P3 SHALLOW 12

Which of these would work best with my amp, which is a MA M500xe which runs 2 x 500W RMS @ 4 Ohm Bridged?

For SPL i would personaly go wit the M3... I currently run them and more than pleased.

For SQ go with the JL if your wanting to spend the money. They sound really good and work good on a lot or even a smal amount of power

that woofer looks like a Image Dynamics maybe because of the colors of the dust cap!

I recommend Image dynamics sub, RE SE for good SQL

did you even look at the box? I would not put any of those woofers in that enclosure. they will probbaly not perform like they should.

out of that list, probably go with the JL's which are smaller sized woofers.

yes I did, and they'd do fine sealed. It might actually encourge him to buy a real enclosure or build one in the future since by then he'd have decent subs to work with and his only limiting factor would be the enclosure.

I didnt look at the mounting depth in that box but it cant be much

Still digging around. I am leaning toward JL's but keeping Kicker and Alpine in mind.
