Which Sub thums harder - kicker or audiobahn?

Which Sub gives more thump- The Kicker Comp VR 12 DVC 4ohm(200wts per coil) or the AUDIOBAHN AW-1251Q dual 4 ohm[400rms 800peak]-(says it can be run in 2 or 8 ohm op.)

If i did pick one of these two, how can i run it to make the proper imepdance on a 1000.2 amp. I have know idea what running in parallel or in series means. Pictures! would be great to show how to run the correct ohm(S) to a 2channel amp. TIA!

Also, recommendations on subs would be great. Im looking to buy them online with no more of a $200 max. (i.e - kickers vr 12 dvc's or the audiobahn aw-1251q)

The Audiobahns would probably be capable of a little more SPL, but the Kickers would be an all around better choice, because the Audiobahns lack SQ. The audiobahn is DVC, so to run it in parallel means connecting both + to each other, hooking it into the + on the amp, then taking both - and hooking them up to the - on the amp. Series would be connecting a +,- to each other, then you are left with one + and one -, which you will connect to the amp. In series you would be running @ 8 ohms, parallel @ 2 ohms. Or you could run each voice coil off one channel each to get 4 ohms. I think I'm right, but it's late, so can someone spot me on this.

what ever you do DO NOT run each channel of a dvc sub to a different channel of the amp. VERY BAD ive heard the kickers they sounded good but never heard the audiobahns. ANDY
