Which speakers? 6x9? 6 1/2"? Amp?

OK, here's my situation. I have an 05 RAM Quad Cab pickup. I just replaced the factory deck with an Alpine CDA-9885. The next thing I want to do is upgrade the front speakers and drive them with an amp. The factory door speakers are 6x9's but it seems most people prefer components. What speakers & amp will provide the best sound level and quality? I want an xtremely clean lifelike sound that won't distort when I crank it up. I listen to all kinds of music and do plan on adding subs under the back seats at some point. I don't really care how much these cost (within reason), I just want the best setup I can find. Thanks

most people will reccomend rainbow for component speakers. Pretty good stuff. As for an amp, i like alpine for ampin speakers
