which setup is better?

trying to figure out which setup would be better.

either 4 Planet Audio TQ150DVC 15" dual 4-ohm TORQ subwoofers on an Audioque 2200D in a sealed box with 2 cu ft per sub.

or 1 MA Audio MA1800XL 18" dual 4-Ohm subwoofer on an Audioque 2200D in a round port box tuned to 32hz with 5 cu ft for the sub.

setup would be in the trunk of a 2nd gen Altima.

sound i'm looking for is really loud deep bass, the kind that vibrates the air in your lungs (or as close to that as i can get //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif).

electrical upgrades will be done (big 3, 0 ga, etc).

i hope this is enough information for you all to help. thanks.

not sure if u can fit all that in a trunk, lol

but why not go with something better to use up ur amp?

HDC3 18"?

but if you had to go with either of those set ups, i would go with the 4 15" due to cone area. With either setup, go for dual 2 ohm versions because they will both wire to 1 ohm.

4 15s in the trunk tho.... even if he goes sealed thats 8 cubes for the subs plus the extra space of the box and bracing displacement etc. the box would be pretty huge in most trunks. no waves would get into the cabin. do a 4th order ported though the rear deck:) may be possible. diffficult but possible

Wow. dont' buy a prefab.
And...how the hell are you fitting this in your trunk. You know it has to fit through the opening right?

Most people can fit one 15 in their trunk (ported).
yea building in the trunk is the only way i can see it happening. and with a sealed box that takes up all the trunk none of the waves in the cabin it will sound **** and muffled. a 4th order is kinda a possiblity since you dont have to worry about it blockin the entrance into the cabin but seeing you were gonna buy a prefab for 130 i dont think you have a whole lot of box experience? ha just do teo nice 12s ported sub back port back

well i have already had 4 12's in the trunk with some room to spare. the max size for the box would be 36x36x16. this is just one of the ideas i have come up with for my new setup, but i am always open to more suggestions. i would like to stay under 700 for the subs and amp, i recently moved my system into my other vehicle so i am starting fresh.

well i have actually come to realizations about my system after talking to a buddy of mine and i think i know what i want now. i am willing to spend the dough to make it happen. this way i won't have to worry about going through a bunch more stuff before i get to where i want.

i was thinking of getting 2 12" Fi BTL's with an Audioque 2200D for each subwoofer. now i have seen poeple running the Audioque 3500D on the 12" BTL, but didn't know if that was for daily driving or not, cause this will be, so i was wondering if the 2200 would be enough. also curious about what the best enclosure would be for this setup.
