Which replacement amp to go with?

My hifonics gladiator 2200 watt amp fell from where it was mounted in my car and broke,

since it was still under the sonic electronix warranty, I sent it back and got a $240 store credit.

I don't know which amp to get to replace my old one with, and I want to stick around in the 200's or lower 300's.

I've narrowed it down to the hifonics Brutus brx2000 or the MB Quart onx2000

I know they're both made by maxxsonics, but is there a quality difference?

Any other amps sonic has to consider?

I'm powering 2 12" RE SE-X 2ohm subs.

Are your subs the V2's (750 rms), or the regular 600w rms version ? ...And what do you mean by "2 ohm" - I'm assuming you mean D4's then so each sub is wired at 2 ohm ??? (I don't think they make that sub in a single VC)

ok then so you need a good clean 1200 or more rms @ 2 ohms... I doubt you are wanting to run @ .5 ohm? Going with NEW amps, I doubt you will hear much of a difference between those 2 amps you listed... For that price range new from sonicelectronix, you really can't do any better...
