EDi 6000's or mclass 6.5s? I can get the mclass used for 140 off here and i can get the edi 6000s with a nine.2 for 300 shipped. If i go with the mclass comps ill more than like get a nine.4 and get the coax in the back and run them off a amp. with the 6000s the back door speakers (prolly memphis) will be run off the head unit. ive heard the mclass comps and i love em but that is a good deal for both the comps and amp. If you guys could shed some light on this subject i would appreciate it,

forgot to add that i listen to pretty just rap and techno. And i HATE high pitched tweets. gimme a head ache and dont sound good. But they have to keep up with a SX 18.

The ed's are basically CDT CL series. The silk tweeter option shouldn't be too harsh.

x2...you'd need alot of power to a proper imaged mids or choose to integrate a larger driver in your OEM locations as a midbass-8's or larger that can play lower than 60-80hz. On top of that that 18" is not even an a trunk -where you could benefit from 4th order rolloff at those x-over frequencies.

more than a midbass will be needed for that lol alot more id just do a horn component set and get it over with. if u were saying sound good with i would tke it different but you have some intent too keep up so why not do both? sure a set costs 500ish but only requires 2 channels ......and 100 watt per channel amp......even if you bought a 350 dollar regular set up you couldnt say it could keep up with that power.
