which one?

Hey guys,

What is a good mono class d budget amp that would put out 1000RMS at 1ohm? I was thinking going with a hifonics amp. Budget would probably be 250...would like to stay at 200 if possible though.

Somone else was talking about an amp company that started with a "c" and i cant remember what it was. It did 1000RMS at 1 ohm...anyone have an idea what this would of been?

Look into the AQ1200D. 249 Shipped and willl put out 1200+ @1ohm so you could turn the gains down and be fine.

Should be able to find a Hifonics 1608d amp that would be nice for under 200 smacks.

Actually, if Hifonics Brutus is all you can afford, that is all you can afford. Just don't expect any miracles out of it and you will be fine Also, once you start getting past the limits of your electrical system, I highly suggest upgrading your battery and/or alternator as necessary! Chances are the amp's power supply will go up in smoke in order to keep its protection circuit from tripping at low voltage:laugh:
