I'd go the Profile (Choice 3).

I've had lots of hands-on experience with the California-series Profiles of different vintages and all of them, bar none, were as reliable as an oak tree and sounded decent doing so.

Plus ~ its the cheapest as you mentioned the budget was tight.

 
would 880 watts be too much for a 12" type r as a daily driver
There are stories all over claiming people have put far beyond the rated capacity into some Rs.

do you think my electrical system will hold up with that profile, i have a stock elect system but a relatively new battery, would i need big 3 or cap, etc
What kind of car do you drive? Different vehicles have different capacity charging systems as stock gear so there's alot of difference from one vehicle type to another sometimes.

Additionally even if just the addition of one amp doesn't necessitate doing any charging system upgrades I would recommend doing the Big 3 anyway if it isn't already. The reasons being (A) As compared to buying an HO alternator or even a high capacity battery and/or and aux battery upgrading your Big 3 to 4awg, 2awg, or even 1/0awg is pretty cheap since the whole process requires
