Which One Would You Suggest

My friend cant decide on whether he should get a 12" L7 or a 15" L5. The amp is 800 rms and I am making a box for him. He just wants the sub that will give a bigger punch to the chest. by the way, they are not the new 06 models, but the ones before them, red one and blue one or whatever. any sugg
