Which one, MB Quart 2000.1D or AQ2200D?

I sold my 2 SAX-100.2s and bought 3 Crunch 1800.4s and an 1100.2. They rocked, for the money it was much better than the Sundown.

People can say whatever they want, but Maxxsonics makes a **** good product, and for the price, it cant be beat.

Haha, seriously tho. I was hesitant because the price was so low, but i am very satisfied with their product none the less.

Exactly lol! People are too quick to judge MB Q just because they know they are related to Hifonics and they know the brutus amps are plain old over-rated.

If the Hifonics and Mb quart amp were identical Maxxsonics would not waste their time selling two different brands!

Ignorance is bliss, so I guess you have every right to be happy when you over pay for an amp.........

couldnt agree more. if it wasnt for Maxxsonics none of the 4 brands they own would be around today.

they make great products bar none. 99% of the time people that bash them are nutthuggers or just saying it cuz they don't use it or their buddy said it.

Exactly. One thing ive never understood since ive gotten into audio(this applies to the Hifonics) is as follows: If a company puts an amp out on the market such as the 2601 and it is "over rated" it is considered crap but if another company(AQ) puts out an amp such as the 2200D and it does rated then its considered good. However, both amps do the same power, and the Hifonics is less so what makes the AQ soo much better? lol.

Also, im not ripping on AQ because they make good equipment. Just trying to prove a point

Nothing makes it better. If you have a bunch of money burning a hole in your pocket and want to spring for the more expensive amp for whatever reason, go for it.

But in this case, the MB Quart should do the same job for the smaller price.

ya i loved my hifonics 2008d, ran like champ, never got warm, i agree that knowing or thinking they are "over rated" , choose the amp next up from the power you need, and its probably still cheaper then some other companies amps at the power range, thats exactly what i did, i bought the hifonics 2008d, i only needed 1500ish, so i did not go with the 1608 figuring they alittle over rated and the 2008d worked great and pounded my type Rs. i would be getting a couple of the mb quart 2000s if i did not get a d9 for cheap.

notice the 105 celcius ratings on the caps? hmmm pretty god****ed stout compared to the 85c caps in the other amp mentioned lolz

yup and have never had one issue with it, or spent alot of money on any of it...and when did i ever say mb quart was bad, i just said id pick the aq over it

300 bnib with factory warranty no but if the site you get it for 300 is legit they would warranty it themselves. only ocs can offer factory direct warranty on maxxsonics. i can offer a warranty because i am a wholesale dealer not a retail website. and hell i usually sell em for 325-350 depending on shipping

yes but were comparing the aq amp to the mb quart, not hifonics

i you research it the quart does 2200 rms at 12.6 -13.6 the aq does just over 2200 at 14.4 and barely 2000 at 12.6.

their are a zillion threads on roe / termpro ect with benched results for both.

the aq costs more and aq cs sucks, never saw heard such rude people in my life.

i dunno i think id go with the AQ i ran the 2200d for awhile. i dont have any experience with the dsc2000 tho. but i plan on ordering a dsc2150 within the next week. i also liked my autotek sx1700 i had a few years ago, but i also had a HFbx605 that was a huge pos

Can you post links, id like to see some tests myself. Maybe ill run 4 of these in my build.
