Which one, MB Quart 2000.1D or AQ2200D?

Saw both gutshots ....in comparison the MB had way beefier internals...they both looked eerily similar also.

i you research it the quart does 2200 rms at 12.6 -13.6 the aq does just over 2200 at 14.4 and barely 2000 at 12.6.their are a zillion threads on roe / termpro ect with benched results for both.

the aq costs more and aq cs sucks, never saw heard such rude people in my life.

honestly i dont really care, im not intrigued to make someone feel stupid..i just like the aq in my opinion..if it really does all that and its that price then thats good for who ever gets something that nice at a good price..and i bought mine used so i wouldnt know how there customer service is...but ive actually been just thinking of upgrading to a sundown 2000 anyways

AQ CS is very up to par IMO. I had some issues with an HDC3 and DJ took care of it. Hes a great guy and i dont think they have bad CS at all. However it seems like the DSC2000D may be the way to go.

he was pretty rude to me when i called for a customer on a box design for some sdc subs that i was unclear on. i wont say much about the specifics but i was very polite til he started bashing on me for my choice of amp to use ( brand ) for his precious subs.

they both make good products, i get the quarts a ton cheaper, and pass the savings on to customers. the quart has better components yes but they both do rated power. so buy the 1 that fits the budget ( cheapest price with a true warranty )

maybe if you had the ordeal i had you would agree, so until you have been in the position i was in maybe you need to do like you suggested. i know everyone says they have great cs and that dj is awesome ect and wow it is so cool the owner himself deals with you, well when you have 5 employees its kind of a given dont ya think?

Even though I dont own my AQ 4x90 anymore, AQ customer service was without a doubt top notch....had an issue with the amp, (turns out the problem was with my car) however, DJ was more than willing to help me with my problem, even willing to replace the amp if required....not to mention, I got a response from him on a Sunday, other than Jacob at Sundown, Ive never been able to reach someone at a company so quickly, esp the owner...

AQ amps are nice solid performers, and id purchase another one in a heartbeat, but im currently on the Sundown tip. I do plan on replacing my 125.2 with a MB 4125 but thats only because I need more power for the front stage I plan.

The MBs look like really solid amps, and appear to perfrom quite well for those who own them.

300 bnib with factory warranty no but if the site you get it for 300 is legit they would warranty it themselves. only ocs can offer factory direct warranty on maxxsonics. i can offer a warranty because i am a wholesale dealer not a retail website. and hell i usually sell em for 325-350 depending on shipping

Hmm, i have a Hifonics 1606d that i bought used, ive had it for a year and absolutely no problems!

Sonic is showing that the mb quart 2000.1d THD at Rated RMS Power as .10%

the hifonics 2010d is showing up as THD at Rated RMS Power as 0.08%

I have only heard the hifonics amps from maxxonics, so i cant comment on the sound quality of the mb quarts. Can anyone tell how the sq is on them compared to a 1610d or a 2010d?

I thought that anything under .10% thd was not audible.
