Which of these 12" subs would you go with?

So do you guys hate every mainstream audio dealer?

Nope, we don't hate mainstream. We just know that "underground" companies are offering great products at prices that JL Audio can't touch. There's something you need to know about companies like DC, man. They're run by people that love car audio. When buying a DC sub, you get to speak one-on-one with the guy that's building your sub by hand. That's a good thing, and JL, Alpine, RF, Kicker and Kenwood don't offer it...

Well not to you guy specifically, but to call JL and Rockford garbage is bs. As ive stated before, ive heard DC subs from a buddy (installer) and they hit hard and clear. Ive heard a couple of systems with JL audio subs that sounded great too. Anyways, Im wanting 2 "12 subs for about $300 for the pair. Whats the best i can get with that budget. I dont want to buy from ebay. KEEP in mind this is gonna be my first system, I dont need the extravagant and expensive subs quite yet as my money has went towards other gear already. maybe i didnt make it clear what i was looking for or maybe you judge every system based on your own. I know DClvl3s would sound better than any of what i listed, thats not the point though.

Thanks for the help so far though, any more suggestions are welcome, just try to keep them close to my price range.

I know. I just wanted to specify that I didn't say anything negative.

If I were you, I'd contact Rusty @ http://www.dcsoundlab.com. The Level 4 15" is in your price range and I guarantee you'd be satisfied with it. You do know that a single sub can be impressive, right?

I have the AQ SDC2.5 12s, and they get loud. My friend has DC lvl 3s and they get loud too, and in my opinion have a little better sound quality than my SDC2.5s. Granted our boxes are tuned different, mine get louder, his sound better. I'd still look between these 2 subs.

If my single 12" isnt enough for me, I want to get to LVL 4 XL 10s. That would get nasty in my single cab.

I have the 12" ssackett built bridged to the rear channels of my DSC480 for some temp bass. Its got some good output for only being on 320wrms. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif Its almost as loud as my 2 CVR 12s I had on a PA 1000w amp in sealed boxes. Definately sounds better though. I really need to get me a DSC2000.
