i'v been looking at some Polk MOMO comops that I'v been wanting to buy. the MM6 and MMC6500 which are both in my price range mmc6500=180.98 shipped and 200 for the mmc6500. are these good comps and which one is better to go with?

MM6: xover freq 3,500 Hz, 150wrms, sencitivity 87 db, freq response 50hz-20khz

MMC6500: 125wrms, sencitivity 90db, freq response 40hz-30khz, resonant freq 60hz, Vas: 0.4 Cu. Ft., 11.3 L

Qts: 0.65

Xmax: 0.16

I mostly liten to rap, techno, house, rock/metal if that helps any.

if it was me, i would look into a different brand... i never like polks at all..they always sound muffled or muddy to me...

i would look into:

infinity kappa perfects

jl xr series

kicker

im sure some other people will recommend some other internet brands like ID, RE, ECt, but i havent had much expereince with these...

I use the MMC6500, and i like them alot...they sound good, much better than Polk's older products...i know a guy who uses the MM6's and they sound good too...
