Which is louder?

I will be upgrading my subs and have decided on RE. In comparison, which is louder and would sound better? Right now I have 2 12'' JL w0's so I am know that both are better options, but if I upgrade my amp to somthing that pushes either option below, which is better?

2 12"...more cone area...might not be louder but that is what iwould do haha
