My apologies as this had probably been discussed ad naseum here (especially the 880prs), but i need help making up my mind or looking for other suggestions.
I originally WANTED a double din touchscreen DVD for my 2005 Mazda 3s, but all the ones i want are $1,000 + and most have nav (which i dont need as i have OEM) So now, im looking towards others... My current system running off the stock mazda HU is;
FRONT: Polk MMC6500
REAR: Polk MMC570
AMPS: Polk Audio c400.4 and Alpine M301 Mono
SUBS: JL Audio 10" W3
It sounds great as it is, but i would assume upgrading the HU can only make it sound even better (im using a navone 4-ch LOC right now). I first thought about the Alpine 9857, but after hearing how scaled back the 2006 models are from previous years, I'm not to keen on Alpine at the moment. (lower preout voltages, manual face, lots of features gone)
What i need;
Bluetooth compatability, and HD Radio would be excellent additions to boot, but not deal breakers as the boxes for both seem to be over $250+ a piece right now... DVD audio/videowould be cool to have as well, but i wouldnt use it nearly as much as standard audio. The two i'm leaning towards... Feel free to suggest another...
