Which HU Brand?

I've been leaning towards a Pioneer for a while, but now I'm hearing how they have noise problems. I've also looked at Alpine and Kenwood. So what would be the best brand of HU to get?

I like my Alpine, had a Kenwood eXcelon before it and it was nice, the plastic seemed of a bit lesser quality though.

I've always come back to Eclipse's...I've used Pioneer and Alpine as well.

depends which units your looking for, double din- hands down kenwood or eclipse, for 1 dins id say alpines

alpines ipod control better than eclipse

many of the newer eclipses like 5000+ models have Ipod and USB controls.

Outside of clarion. I don't have another favorite with good SQ.

Alpine has a fun ipod control though on thier new models.

Eclipse I purchased a CD3100 129.99 shipped and even has dual changer and can be set up to run with steering wheel control. It even has an adapter for an ipod. The preamp output on it is hot I mean I had to turn my inputs way down on my amp. CD section I think is unbeatable. with the changer Im under 200.00. I purchased a Eclipse changer on ebay.

Go with the alpine you will love it a lot less complicated than the eclipse.
