Which drill to buy?

at sears , we have replacement warrantys though sears at an additional cost. if it breaks , you can bring it back once per year , for two years. it applies for craftsman drills , not sure about other brands though. havnt worked sales in a while...

weve actually had a few customers bring back thier drills saying that the battery took a shit. reason is , alot of people dont think to let the battery cool down before charging it , or putting it to use. not sure about other brands or the craftsman professional line , but the 19.2s seem to be more prone to that.

Makita 18v. The charger actually has a fan inside of it. It'll keep the battery cooler making it last longer. I've used craftsman, dewalt, and makita. Craftsman is really strong, but a little to heavy, dewalt is good overall and makita is what I prefer to use.

x2.

craftsman is the best 'bang for your buck' deals , but you pay for what you get. i prefer dewalt over anything when it comes to drills for work. but if its just for around the house jobs , get whats within your budget. just dont cheap out too much...

thanks guys for the suggestion on drills i will look into makita and other brands but i think i might just buy a dewalt for overall purposes

its a little out of your range, but i highly recommend this set.

it took the abuse of 14ft falls, 1/38" auger bits 24" long

and would still be going if i didnt switch to the 18v li ion version.

ive used 18, 28v milwaukee

18v ryobi, dewalt, makita li ion, kawasaki, and craftsman

and for the money id take my little 14volt set over most other stuff for daily. i work construction btw so i put a fair amount of abuse on my tools.

I'm just waiting for BJ to chime in. =P

I think he'd sell a sh!t load of drills for all the kiddies that wanna be like him.

I won't lie, I'll probably consider buying a drill similair to his. He does some bad@ss jobs with it. But, a tool is only good as the person with the handle.
