Are you looking for something to impress someone at a competition or are you looking for something just to be dumb and try to get looks when you drive by people?

I don't do audio competition and I really don't drive the car. It is primarily a show car with a nice DVD Audio system. So from time to time I like to show the audio/video off. Therefor I'm looking for a cd and a dvd that would do this for me. Am I asking for something that no one else does????????????

The BEST concert dvd EVAR!

Porcupine Tree - Arriving Somewhere... (DVD)

****ing incredible DVD from an incredible band.

Porcupine Tree - In Absentia (CD) works great as an album to showcase with. Very crisp production.

For those who don't know, Porcupine Tree is prog/psychedelic rock and metal.

I've heard alot of people say good things about Dave Matthews Band DVDs. I've never listened to them because I'm not a fan of DMB at all...but that could be another avenue to pursue.

As far as music goes, there's a band called "Dream Theater" that has some really good SQ tracks. I'm sure there are plenty more out there, but as for a general SQ those are all that I can think of.

Personally, I listen to John Mayer, Dire Straits, Rob Thomas, Steve Winwood, and The Eagles for SQ/everyday listening purposes.

I mean, to each his own...but IMO, Pink Floyd isn't great at all. I've listened to them a couple times, but never again.

If you're talking as far as listening/demo, then they may be. But just in general, I can't take them.
