Which car to choose

I have been trying to decide on which "sports" car to buy. I am trying to keep the price tag as far from 10 grand as possible. I am under 21 so insurance is a problem with certain cars. It would have to be a manual..and id prefer aftermarket parts already installed (mainly engine work). Anyone know cars like these for sell? Here is what I have come up with so far, opinions?

1. 95-99 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX or GS-T [hard to find]

2. 94-9x Toyota Celica GT [very slow stock imo]

3. 95-99 Nissan 240sx [insurance costs?]

4. 95 or 97 Ford Mustang GT [iffy]

5. Acura Integra [a little pricey]

Well those are all i can come up with in my price range..I don't care for older cars..they look cool but i wouldnt want one as a daily driver. Id much rather have something like a 300zx twin turbo or a toyota mr2 turbo but i could never afford the shitty insurance. What do you guys think?

Get a 240sx. And the only american models of the newest gen. 240sx are 1995-1998. And the 97-98 have different headlights and taillights. Just my 2 cents.

personally id get an earlier eclipse/talon and use the money you save in mods, u can get a 11/12 second car like that. http://www.dsmtuners.com !

both are good looking cars and can be modded to be hella fast.

id pick a teg just cause i love them... the 2nd and 3rd gen tegs are nice a 2nd gen will cost around 1000-2500 and a 3rd gen is around 2500- ^, depending on the year of it.

whatever you choose, do not go domestic- especially with ford.

the mustang should not even be in your list.

240's are fun for drifting especially, and you can always throw in a built RB26DETT or RB25DET and have it be fast as hell. Teg's handle great, and look better than the rest of the group IMO. Eclipse can be made wicked fast, but even with aftermarket suspension parts galore, still won't handle that well. Maybe better handling with GSX's pseudo AWD over GS-T FWD. Unless it's a '03 SVT mustang (which I doubt, no offense), stay away.
