absolutely not. Low quality vs high quality...... i.e. alot of the dampeners begin to peel off slowly after a few months...

never experimented with cheap generic brands so i still stick to my theory

whats your budget?

and i would say go with second skin. They have something for everyone. they have standard damplifier which is a great solid product then they have the damplifier pro which imo blows everybody else's deadener out of the water

I've never acutally used Soundstream's Deathmat, but it looks alright to me.

Fat Mat butyl Mega is what I use, any with the Butyl is best.

check out dropmat 80mil. it is black butyl base w/foil backing. much cheaper than most other brands.

Thanks for all the kind words guys!

Out of all the brands listed, ours it not he cheapes, but it does have the highest grade butyl adhesive, the strongest termpure foil, and imo looks the best (flat black)
