installing a 7 band eq?

im a bit confused as to how its wired up, theres one input and 3 outputs? where does it get its input? and obviously the outputs are labeled front rear and subs. but still a bit confused. can anyone help me out here. TIA

the input comes from the output of your cd player

Input on the EQ is to be connected to the "output" off the deck. The three outputs on the eq probably are for Front, Rear, Sub. and thos each go to it's own amplifire. You do not have to use them all. You could just use the front and sub out or just the front out. So. Tell us what equipment you have and plan on hooking up...
