Which Amp?

Simple question. Have 2 12" JL Audio W7 and wired together the final ohm load will be 1.5. I prefer not to run one JL Audio amp per sub. I have a few amps in mind that will do 1850-2200watts at 1.5 ohms. I want something that will have good quality buy also provide the power I need. I will list them below and let me know which do you think is the best one. Also if you have any other amp to suggest please do.

1. ARC Audio KS 2500.1

2. American Bass VFL 150.1

3. Zapco Z-3KD

4. Audison TH Uno

5. MMATS 3000.1D

6. Orion 2500D

inb4 a vendor tries to sell you something.

Also I doubt you'd regret any of those choices. Pick whichever you like the looks of or will offer the best warranty/customer service.

Or would it be a better idea to get 2 of the jl audio slash 1000/1 or 1200/1

Personally form your experience which would you choose ? Just want something that will push my w7s rally hard but still sound good

If you have the budget Mmats and Zapco are made in USA and top quality. Audison next (is nice but not made in USA so it loses points with me). Not sure if that model Arc is made in USA, but Arc is generally quite nice. AB and Orion 2500 are both solid but made in the far east. That would be my personal pecking order, money not being an issue.

Also W7 really doesn't like >1000W for very long. Any amp you listed will easily over-power and break a pair of W7's if you're not smart about when you turn it up to full power and for how long.

Speaking from experience I would go with the 2 Jl amps. Done those exact amps on those same subs SEVERAL installs and never been disappointed and the power is ok. My Uncle clamped one of those Jl amps a couple years ago and they do a little above at 13.9. That's all I remember, he's clamped dozens of amps, sorry I can't remember the exact numbers.

If I can't find any 1000/1 I might get the 1200/1. You think it will work?
