Which Amp ?

I am looking to buy a amp that will power a Pioneer Premier TS-W3002D4 which needs at least 1000 watts rms.

I was looking at these amp so far, any help welcome.

Good choice of subs, btw. If you're running 1, then get an amp that works well at 2 ohms or 2 - 4 ohm channels.

It may seem weird, but a good 4 channel amp will give you the specs you're looking for. Bridge it down to 2 channel, and wire to each voice coil.

For example:

Powerbass 4 channel for $150

Crunch Powerzone for $100

Autotek for $100

Sundown 100.4 but a little more costly

Granted the first 3 may not max out the sub, but it'll be close enough to pound and will be crazy cheap.

If you're looking into a long-term amp, get a stronger mono amp

Hifonics 2010

or the Power Acoustik and keep the gain appropriate.
