Which amp would be best for me?

I would either way works, but yeah I'd spend the extra $40 personally for the 2200D.

so how would i set it up for my subs which only use 1200 RMS combined?

You will be fine if wired at 1 ohm load.. Due to box rise, electrical which you will have, and few other variables. Should be around that perhaps a little higher but not much and going over 1200 would be alright.. Make sure you seek out a thread or website which will tell you how to properly set gain and controls on amp.
