Which amp would be best for me?

alright, that is one other question i posted in my other thread. About what other things do i need besides my box, subs, amp, and head unit. Im talking wiring, electrical, those sorts of things are what I don't really know about.

For your plans..

I would use 1/0 gauge power wire, upgrade your battery to something other than gas (like red or yellow top battery from autozone for example), and run The Big 3. The following link will lead you to information about The Big 3..

Well actually the owner of Skar is making me a custom box at a discount if i buy 2 Skar VVX, so I am going to do that to save money for my amp/hu.

4 gauge amp kit from knu will do just fine

Well not the wiring kit. Everything listed above just add 16 gauge wire for remote and a set of decent RCA cables (Make sure it looks shielded well).

This will work, but if you plan on doing The Big 3 you will need to get extra wire for the runs.

So im planning on buying an amp wiring kit

17 ft. of red 0 AWG high current OFC super flex power cable

3 ft. of black 0 AWG ground cable

17 ft. of blue 16 AWG remote turn-on lead

17 ft. of gold double shielded RCA cable

20 ft. of speaker wire

3 ft. of split loom tubing

ANL Gold plated fuse holder

ANL 250 Amp fuse

2 Ring terminals

3 Red butt connectors

10 Cable ties

and adding 10 extra feet of 1/0 gauge power wire.

After all of this i should be ready to go and install it?

That will work and would be everything you need, except (6) 1/0 gauge ring terminals. You can find these on Ebay for a decent price.

The ring terminals are to be clamped to each end of wire then the ring terminal to the each designation.

Well I don't know much about those subs other than they are rather new to the industry, but if you want one heck of a great amp to power them then I would recommend this to you..

If i have never installed anything like this before would it be hard for me to do if i read through lots of instructions?
