so im debating between an aq2200 or a sundown 1500

i know the chao's are rated at 800rms but ive been told thats a little under rated and I want to get all I can out of my subs without damaging them.

so what do you guys think?

oh and i have two d1 chaos's

ya thats why im stuck i mean of course sundown is better quality?

but is it that much better to spend several hundred more for?

brand new aq2200 is around 380?

and a used sd is around 300?

so i mean my first instinct is to spend the 80 extra and have a brand new amp.

oh never heard of that company bro. a bit out of what i was hoping to spend but it caught my eye. you have any experience with cerwin?

like it?

quality?

Cerwin Vega has a home audio and professional audio division and they've been bass-oriented since the early 60s or even earlier; they're in the business to get loud and clear. They used to be in the car audio SPL game and the old-school Cerwin Vega Strokers were the top dog in SPL contests, a few people were in the 170dB+ range using the original Stroker subwoofers.

I've never heard of bad things from Cerwin Vega, their attempt at the new Stroker PRO(now discontinued) was kind of disappointing though, not because it didn't pound... it just needs a lot of power to get going, like 1000+ watts RMS.
