which amp to chose

Can I get some information on which amp to purchase. I am not going to competition but needing to sound hard on the streets. My set up is a tcsounds 15 inch sub in a sealed enclosure(2.5 cubic ft) on a stock electrical system (1992 dodge d50 pickup truck) my choice of amps are an orion 1200d or mmats d800.1 which I can buy for less than 150.00 bucks, which amp would any of you pick to power my setup. What coil(s)?

It is a hybrid tcsound sub with a dual 2 ohm voice coil, supposedly able to handle 1200 + watts rms dual voice coil 2 ohm sub, It is between the old tcsound tc-2000 and tc-3000.
