Which Amp should i use with my two PowerBass 2xl 10"?

As far as amps go, First is first what is your Budget?

those are 400w rms dvc 4's so something that's 800-1000w at 1 ohm would be ideal IMO.

Why not a powerbass amp??

Ah, I see, I thought you were shopping and narrowed it down to those two.

Honestly, they're going to give you about the same results.

The primary factor in comparing sub amps is power.

With your dvc 4's you're stuck at 4 ohms mono for either amp (2 ohms stereo would work with the Kicker too, but the power is still the same).

The Kenwood is going to give you around 300w as they are pretty accurately rated. The Kicker is rated for 250, but will probably give you 300 or more being generally under-rated.

I'd go with the Kicker temporarily just because I think it's a higher quality amp than the Kenwood.

Put them both on ebay. If they're in really good shape you might get around $100 out of each of them. That would come close to covering a decent sub amp that will do a much better job for those 10's.

I am sure he can cut you a killer deal on an amp to push that sub.

Good amp for the money you cannot beat it. The Cadence iA7 is the exact same amp cannot go wrong with eather.
