Hi all, I could do with some advse please. I need a new amp to run my JBL GT3-12 sub (225RMS) which is going in a sealed enclosure & my Sony hu has a 5V RCA output.

The 2 i'm looking at are the JBL GTO-752 (200RMS bridged) & the Kicker ZX 250.2 (250RMS Bridged) I can get both for the same price but don't know which will be the better amp & if the Kicker will take a 5V input.

Thanks for any help

Thanks for the help, an other option is a Kenwood KAC-6203 which is 300RMS bridged. You don't get that much for your £ over on this side of the pond the cheapest I can get petrol is £1.36 a litre

I'll suggest a JP8 amplifier. I believe you can wire your sub to 2 ohm. It's Dual voice coil 4 ohm, correct? JP8 @ 2 ohm does 900 watts.
