Which amp for my 2 12" Kicker S12L7's?

I just bought 2 2005 modle 12" Kicker S12L7 and was wondering if I should buy the Kicker KX1200.1 amp or the Kicker SX1250.1 to hook them up. The subs are duel 2ohm. Also would these subs sound good in a ported box and where is a good place to buy a sub box at? What size sould the box be? And i also bought a Alpine CDA-9847 is that a good head unit?

if you have both DVC 2, neither amp will work...the KX12001 and SX1250 want a 1 ohm load, you need an amp that will do max power into a 2 ohm load.

what kind of budget do you have? a PG Tantrum 1200.1 well push those subs pretty well. depending on what type of music you listent to and if you are into sq or spl, will determine what box you want. i prefer ported boxes. don't buy a prefab box. build one yourself or have one built.

look on ebay for the PG, thats where i got mine. also go ported...LOUD
