Which amp do i buy for this sub?

I have a 2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT... I am putting a box in my trunk that has .70' of air space. I will use this sub: Pioneer USA - TS-SW3001S2|S4 - 12" Shallow Mount Subwoofer with 1500 Watts Max. Power which is obviously a shallow mount. I am just using 1 of them. which amp should I get for some decent sound?

Pioneer USA - GM-D7500M - Class-D Mono Amplifier with 800 Watts Max. Power

It's a good match but that amp is only rated for 400 watts RMS at 2 ohms, and they go for around $120~130 new on eBay, which means you're going to be low on power when you want to upgrade.

For only 70 more dollars you can get a new 2009 model of HiFonics Brutus 1200 watt RMS amp, it is a better choice IMO but I'm not sure how well those Pioneers are gonna take the extra power. Practice safe subbin' I guess haha.

Yeah, well I'll tell you right now I do not plan to upgrade, mainly due to the space in my car. So, lets focus on this ONE sub for now. And yeah whatever I buy will probably be off ebay I just need to know exctly what I should get.

Get the s4 and a ap15001d. Does 600 @ 4 set gains at 400 and have plently of power for future upgrades. Can be had for $165

AP has some of the cheapest power around. more power than youll need. everyone says they wont upgrade. everyone lies.

mallet would be my choice as it dosent have the sound of a shallow, but these 2 would be better choices for the price pioneer subs ****.

and id rather go with a mono amp, imho i would get the mallet and the kicker amp and be happy, i really hate shallows what box are u putting it in, but the mallet is the best low price sub for shallows id get unless u want to spend 220 then the
