Which amp/amps?

This is for constructive information and not intended to bash any brand or type of amplifier. The choice is between a Banda 8k or 2 crossfire C5 1700d’s. There is a $50 difference between the two choices. This will power a pair of DD 9510’s in my sons Honda Crosstour. We have installed an 80 PRS, 270 amp. alternator, 4 C&D group 31’s, 2 runs of 1/0, 2 Soundstream TN 4.900d’s for the mids and tweets, 2 DD 9510’s @ 1 ohm in a 2.5 cu.ft. box tuned to 32 hz, a lot of deadener, and many hours of work. I’m debating these two amp choices and wanted to get some other opinions, information, or knowledge from people who have experience with these two choices. The 1700’s would be at 0.5 ohm each or the Banda would be at 1 ohm. I have never owned a Banda, but I’m intrigued by the dollar per watt, size, and efficiency of these amplifiers. I am also interested in the power, and efficiency of the 1700’s. I have read a lot and watched several videos about both choices. If any other info is needed lmk. Thanks in advance for your help!

i guess none of us have experience with banda or new cf amps someone will probably help this weekend.. the ss 900.4 are same as ppi 900.4 and many peeps here use those or the 2 channel (i think jeff has 4)..

I don't have any personal experience with either of those, But I will tell ya that those crossfire amps are very very solid built amps. IDK if strapping 2 of those will be better for your build than going with 1 bigger amp like the Banda. I do know that the banda amps are Brazilian made. The Crossfire have korean components. Both amps put out some power for sure. People will say that the Brazilian amps are more efficient than the Korean made amps. IMO I think the crossfire is built a bit better though. Both amp brands are used in competitions, it comes down to what you want and what you are trying to achieve. What are you going to wire your subs down to?

I might be open to other brands. I can get the 1700’s or the Banda for $500 - $550. I think that around 5k real for that much money is a good deal. I don’t really know any other amps that will get us that much power for that amount of money.

Me personally I would take the crossfires over the banda but that's only because I like Korean amps because they are built like tanks for the most part
