Looking to get a new alternator for my truck. I saw knukonceptz sell H.O. alternators now and i know they are a respectable company but i know Dom. is the man when it comes to H.O. alts. So heres the break down...
Knu has a 200amp alt for my truck. Comes with a 6 month warranty. Cost 240. Alt also comes with the upgraded wires.
I've had experince with dom alts because he built one for my honda. Sadly i got rid of the honda. So i am familiar with his products. I think he said he could make me a 220 or 240 alt for my truck. (forgot which one) His alts, if im not mistaken comes with a 30day warranty unless you pay an extra 100 bux and get the extended warranty of 1 year. and if it mess up, he will replace/repair it for free the first time or what not. His alts are going to run me 340-440 depending on which alt im going to run with.
Honestly Knu is sounding good to me. They are cheaper but also are rated a tad bit lower than dom alts. Is 20-40 amps worth an extra 100bux? If that would make a significant difference then i'd go ahead and pay the 340 for Dom alt. Im also liking the fact knu offers a 6month warranty with their alts. Without paying 100 bux extra. But i need advice so i can go ahead and get my eletrical where it needs to be. Cant bump my 20.1 for long until i start gettin drops down to 12.2ish volts.
