Looking to get a new alternator for my truck. I saw knukonceptz sell H.O. alternators now and i know they are a respectable company but i know Dom. is the man when it comes to H.O. alts. So heres the break down...

Knu has a 200amp alt for my truck. Comes with a 6 month warranty. Cost 240. Alt also comes with the upgraded wires.

I've had experince with dom alts because he built one for my honda. Sadly i got rid of the honda. So i am familiar with his products. I think he said he could make me a 220 or 240 alt for my truck. (forgot which one) His alts, if im not mistaken comes with a 30day warranty unless you pay an extra 100 bux and get the extended warranty of 1 year. and if it mess up, he will replace/repair it for free the first time or what not. His alts are going to run me 340-440 depending on which alt im going to run with.

Honestly Knu is sounding good to me. They are cheaper but also are rated a tad bit lower than dom alts. Is 20-40 amps worth an extra 100bux? If that would make a significant difference then i'd go ahead and pay the 340 for Dom alt. Im also liking the fact knu offers a 6month warranty with their alts. Without paying 100 bux extra. But i need advice so i can go ahead and get my eletrical where it needs to be. Cant bump my 20.1 for long until i start gettin drops down to 12.2ish volts.

I dont know what to tell ya, Ive never had any personal experience with either, but Im willing to go try out EA and see whats up.

BTW, I think Im moving over there next year [college] or to Europe.. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Really? What college are u planning on attending?

I honestly thought about excessive but when i was doing my research i came across iceeteebone thread and saw the way the guy was treating his situation. That wasnt acceptable in my opinion. After dumping a couple hundred dollars in an alt, i would expect great customer service and not some of the things i read. Thats why Dom has me. But im not afraid to try out new things. Never know what u might discover

Ohio Gen is def. an option. Havent really looked into them yet, but i'll start my research on them asap
they are like the best. every one loves em and Ng love mean green so check em out too

also what type of car do you have?

a nice alt fro ohio gen could be more than $500 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

Ha, enough research. Not looking to spend that much. So its still Iraggi or Knu. Ha, and the poll results are even

when kids hook up alts, without the proper steps, they get f'ed up product.. there is nothing wrong with ea's service in my opinion.. Love talking to him.. answers all the q's. Nice build quality.

Heard great things about dom as well, then some bad things..

Nobody's perfect.

id recommend iraggi for sure, dom is an excellent fellow to deal with, i had a problem on my alt 3 days before a 3key event, I contacted him when it had the problem and i shipped it out same day, got it back the following day //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif thats customer service. Go ask on termpro, "Dom is the man"
