Just wanted to let you guys know, i installed the VIBE amp today and wow did it exceed my expectations. The amp is a lot smaller then i imagined but the SQ and clarity this little amp puts out is amazing. Its a little overrated and does more like 75 rms x 4 @ 4 ohms but for the price of $150 its a great little amp. Definitely satisfied with this purchase.

i knew it was overrated. it doesnt look as "good/beefy" as the arc board yet it supposedly does more? still a good price tho. i paid 150 for my 50x4 but its active capable

I would have gone with the dsc480, active capable and about $110 shipped

What do you mean by active capable? I am running an active setup with this amp. The dsc480 doesn't have any more settings then the VIBE amp. In fact i think the VIBE has more flexibility as you have a gain knob for each channel.

If you were to use your amp to spit your frequency for each speaker then i would at least expect to see a frequency multiplier for the tweeters which i don't on that amp.

i saw the new reference and Q series MB quarts and they look to be strong contenders in thier price range..
