Which 12" for mtx1501d

I've read a lot on a whole bunch of subs, but i don't have much experience with them...

BUDGET: RIGHT AROUND $250

i'm looking for a solid 12 that will handle an mtx 1501d daily at 2 ohms that both gets loud, sound decent, and be impressive...

box requirements aren't particular... i can build for whatever, i just want a loud sql daily sub...

Which sub would YOU get and why...

- MTX 9500, is it worth it?

- 8500?

- CVX

- Type R

- SX

- Eclipse Ti if i can one?

Interesting that you say this, im testing a sub today on that exact amp and will publish my results this weekend some time on here..

lol, we have had 3 cracked 9500's at the team shop....that cheesy plastic fake alumnium cone always cracks...for that being MTX's top of the line sub, thats pretty embarassing //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/uhoh.gif.c07307dd22ee7e63e22fc8e9c614d1fd.gif

thanks for the info man... out of the choices i gave, which ones have you had experience with? I don't think i could ever crack a sub with this amp... my elec is so bad... i drive at 13.5 lol

any other suggestions snoop?

Are you going ported or sealed with this 12, and how much room do you have to work with?

ported and up to 4 cubes for a single 12...

i've already had an sx 15 and loved it, but wanted to try something that'll get nasty loud for a daily driver, without killing my elec.

I can't afford a mag lol, my budget is right around 250 tops unless i am convinced that a sub is worth more

I have a little nissan nx 2000 (hatch) so it isn't hard to get loud, but it is tough to get good feel...

Mine hasnt crack or anything like that. & im pushing it 1000-1300rms at 2 ohms daily for pass two years.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif I have the 9500 for almost 2 years now. Don't under estimate that 1501d it's a nice little amp. Mod it down to 1 ohm and you will be pushin about 1800w rms. I miss my ol' MTX 1501d.
