it didnt really say actually. it was just 'the new prototype'

as for now, the SX. XXX and, the MT have the same basket look right? im sure they will prolly do the same thing where only the hardware is different and all the baskets look the same. and you can see the logo of the xxx on the smaller one, im sure they would compare the same 'old' driver to its new re-designed brother wouldnt they?

actually if they used the same basket as on the xxx and the MT, the woofer would not be able to reach its claimed 4+ inches p-p. and i am guessing they will keep the xxx just the way it is, what is the point in redoing it. and nothing is redesigned about that other driver. it was designed, from the ground up. just the same xbl^2 concept.
