Where to set subsonic filter?

I have a ts3.5k amp on two American bass xfl12’s in a 5 cubic foot box tuned to 30 hz. I’m not sure where to set the subsonic filter for optimal results. I’ve read to set 1/3 octave below tuning frequency but I’m not sure how to calculate that.

My box is tuned to 31hz and I have mine set to 24hz with zero issues.

yeah there's not gonna be alot of songs with bass below your tuning anyway so about 25hz is all u need..

idk how far down yours goes but i wouldn't set below like 24hz (anything below that won't help u anyway)., i have sine waves that go to 20 hz so i have to use mine being tuned higher but it's just a nice safe guard for u..

75% of box tuning. In your case 22.5hz. Just use xplicit audio app on your phone to generate a 22hz sine wave and low-medium volume, turn up the subsonic until the sound starts to fade halfway and you are done. You dont want it fully faded, just when the output starts cutting is basically where your crossover point is and starts rolling off.
