I am just not understanding why IDSkot said you would have to take out the rear window........

I have seen many IB installs to where they didn't have to do such a thing.

Granted some were in hatches, lol!

Also I was looking at some Type R's, are they any good?

a box in ur trunk will be the best bet. although the trunk will rattle even with tons of deadening, inside the cabin will sound good i promise considering i have a trunk car & especially if ur seat can fold down... SDC2.5 are better woofers than type rs

How do the Type R's sound in a sealed box vs ported? Also what would be a good amp to pair these subs with?
