the mids will be going in the floorboards in fiberglassed enclosure... thats another idea? putting them down with the mids in floorboard? but im afraid thats too low down?

By the mids in the floorboard I hope you mean in the kick panels, in which case I would mount them as close as possible to the mids.
yes the kicks i wasnt 100% sure what they were called haha. i got the rings for them already and will be fiberglassing next tuesday. i wanted to put them in the doors but there was too much in there already and it was outta my league....

first i would invest in a new steering wheel cover than install tweets between front and rear door pillars
haha, ya its got frogs and vines on it... my grandma gave it to me.... well she already had it on steering wheel when i got it...

and any reason for putting it in between the pillars?

would think blaring right in ur eardrum would be a good enough reason for me
Serioiusly? You do know what a "front stage" is, correct? I'd put them down in the kicks. It looks like you may have a couple of different places in the door to put them as well. How is that "out of your league"?

When I had my comps in my 93, I had the 6.5s in the doors in the stock opening, and the tweeters in the little square right above them, its a stock tweeter opening I believe.

Later decided to put the tweeters higher on the doors, surface mounted, and I liked that alot better.

But personally, id do the tweeters next to your mids in your kicks, or possible on the a pillar if you have the space.

Mid 90s buick? Ive mounted some in the door panel before, behind the light controls where the fake grills are, take some dremel work but ends up looking really nice when done.
**** you really do roll in some the junkiest cars on the planet. with all these cars you have owned or talk about, we could have filled up the trailer park before they shot the movie '8 mile'

yes, and no... louder yes but i want decent imaging as well and have always heard to keep them close to mids.

well i took off panels and there was almost no flat surfaces and just too many wires... i decided that would be a bit too much for me to try to deal with.

dont have a dremel... another reason for avoiding the doors... i have literally no tools i have 2 pliers 2 phillips heads 1 flat head 1 hammer an electric drill and i borrow my neibors skill saw... haha im kinda poor.... work at mcdonalds...
