where to put my subs

i have a question for you guys, I have an 03 single cab gmc 1500 and I'm trying to figure out if i should put my subs behind the seat or under the seats, (i have bucket seats) I have two 10 inch SWR-1042D. but i might just decide to go with one 10 still not sure. What do you guys think. Any help is appreciated

Since you already have bucket seats, you could come up with a center console idea and do some fiberglass work.

Behind the seats will work just fine as well and likely be a lot easier for you to work with.

I like the idea of doing an inverted sub between the bucket seats. In a fiberglass enclosure. But putting them behind the seats is alot easier to work with.

Ya i did a custom job for a Chevy 2000 sigle cab, i did 2 ported 12" l7s behind the seat and it banged, if you juss doing one subs put it behind the passenger seat and port it, it should bang pretty nice.

thanks guys, i really appreciate it, I'll let you know when i get em in, oh and one more question? what type of box should i use for these subs, i wanna catch alot of low end stuff but people keep giving me mix views and opinions on it, some tell me bandpass, or port, sealed, so not really sure. I figured some of you guys would probably know best and maybe some of you have actually used or heard these subs perform.
