you sturrin at me brah?
where do you explorer guys ground your amps in the rear? i was going to just drill a hole in the chassis under where the back seats fold forward, towards the rear on the angled part, but i dont want to drill into my fuel tank or something.

also, in the instructions that came with my iraggi alt, it specifically says to ground to the frame and not to the chassis, why is that? if im grounding the amps to the chassis, wouldn't i want the alt grounded there? plus its a lot easier than drilling holes in my truck at the rear and running wires underneath to ground to the frame. shouldnt make a difference as long as the connection is sanded clean right?

I always ground to the seat bolts. Never had a problem. Yeah, you want the ground wire as short as possible, but it doesn't have to be THAT short. Most setups don't allow for a ground wire that short. Mine is about 3 feet long, but it's 0/1 guage.

ha im literally in the middle of an install. i just came in to take a break and i just pulled back the carpet in the cargo area scrapped off the paint so its bare metal and bolted my ground wire down there. I also have a massive box and it seems like its gonna work well. We will see though.
