are you guys serious ?well anyways a good place to dowload music for free is to to download limewire not limewire pro that one cost but limewire basic its free to download.

just download a hacked version of limewire pro... i mean, hell...you're already pirating, why not do it right?

is that wmv or do they actually have mp3's? someone told me that all songs imported onto the zune become wmv's because thats how microsoft rolls...i dont know if its true or not...just wondering...

A zune will play MP3s and the zune software will rip CDs into mp3.

I am not sure if marketplace sells MP3s or just WMA. I am pretty sure the monthly subscription is WMA, but when you actually buy songs outright they might offer mp3.

sweet...i was looking at getting either a zune or the new creative vision player for my next big portable media player...right now i have a 60gb ipod video and a 4gb zen v plus...my ipod has deleted music on me a few times once i try and sync it, it freezes and then comes up and then a few of my albums are gone...the battery is quirky, sometimes it will last for a long time, other times, 45 minutes and its almost dead...

I like the zune. However, it is the only mp3 player i have owned and i only paid $103.98.

sounds like a good deal...i really like those new creative visions...they are pretty big, but they do so much...the clarity of the video playback and the audio sound way better than anything else i have messed around with...

Its all .wma encryped so you have to play it through THEIR player, but if you want there are programs out there (fairuse4wm, and one other) that'll strip the encryption off of it for you.

Needless to say then it becomes illegal.

If you plan on buying whole cd's, just buy them used off of Amazon. New cd's are relatively cheap and old cd's can be dirt cheap.
