negative bossman. thats why i said 100% OFC. i think the rating of the KLM is ~the same as a 2ga copper wire.

i'm not sure though

Copper is more conductive than aluminum. Does this mean that this 1/0 gauge aluminum wire is probably the same conductivity as 4 gauge copper?

no.... but there have been claims of lower voltage using this wire

I never had any voltage issues with the 1/0 Kicker wire which is mostly aluminum, but I haven't really used anything else.

yep that's the stuff i use and it's great. I have the 1/0 ultra fleks orange and it's really flexible

The KLM is rated at 250 amps, which is lower than the typical 300 ish rating 1/0 guage has...but at 1.75 a foot you could run double runs of it for basically the same price as the higher end stuff...

i went and got some at my local welding shop saturday to do the big 3 upgrade. 10 feet and 6 ring terminals (they call them lugs at the welding ship) and some electrical tape cost me about 40 bucks. not bad at all

welding cable that is copper is the best bet but aluminum will be cheaper but thicker to achieve the same current ratings. I used to order welding cable and charge it to work that was the cheapest for me.

Go around to a local welding and gas supply they will have what you need.
