Off topic, but to the OP, how do you like the 4028? I needed a new HU and I just bought the 4028 on eBay.

I love it. It's perfect for a budget HU. I love the built in HPF, I use it on my fronts at about 80 hz to match up with the LPF on my subs. Plays mp3's, has 3 4V preamps, looks good.

Cool. My Alpine crapped out in december and I've had to listen to the radio the whole time.. been too lazy to buy a deck. I bought it for just $130 with shipping/insurance and bought the harness for $8. I love the features.. mp3 playback, 4v preouts, interface, etc.

I really just want to hear the difference between the 2v preouts on my alpine compared to the 4v preouts on the 4028. Now I'm just waiting impatiently..
