where should i aim the box?

98 dodge durango, with two 12" L7's and a kicker zx1500.1 amp...

building a custom 5.5 cubic feet ported box

should i aim it towards the roof or towards the back hatch?? i know that most of a cars rattling comes from the back hatch so i was thinking of aiming them up, but is the roof going to pop???

anyone with a similiar car that knows what should be best?
