Ok guys I got an Avic-d3, xmnavtraffic unit, and a PAC audio interfase all connected to the stock constant 12v. When I have my headlights on (auto feature in the car) the unit will take an additional 5-10 seconds to startup. I'm guessing it's not getting enough juice. Where else can I tap into a fused power source?

Eh I'd rather not tap into the ignition wire. If there isn't any where else I'll just get a 10 awg amplifier wiring kit and run it from the battery.

Why not, as long as it's fused...

That is how ALL remote starts, alarms, keyless entry systems are installed. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

I understand if you do run it to the battery, my HU & Accessories are fused/hardwired too.
